Manila | A walk in Intramuros

It was a fine Saturday when we decided to take a short trip in Intramuros to take some pictures of some historical stuff inside the place.

Intramuros or the Walled City is one of the old cities in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The Latin word Intramuros literally means “within the walls”.

This is the main gate of Fort Bonifacio.
Fort Bonifacio or Fuerza de Santiago in Spanish and Moog ng Santiago in Tagalog is situated in Intramuros, one of the historical places in Manila. It was named to the patron saint of Spain named Saint James the Great (Santiago in Spanish). It was first built by Miguel López de Legazpi, a Spanish conquistador, for the new established city of Manila in the Philippines.

Batangas | La Luz Beach Resort, San Juan: Just One Summer

Summer is getting near and we are starting to look for a beach resorts that could be a place for a relaxation this season. When we say beach, Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations because it is famous for beaches. One of those spot is Laiya, San Juan.

We had our Team Building last 2009 in La Luz Beach Resort, Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. La Luz is one of the best spot for relaxation this summer. I loved the food which serves buffet, beach chairs and nipa huts, the beautiful sand and clear water.

Lucban, Quezon | Kamay ni Hesus

If you are looking for a good place to go for a pilgrimage this Holy Week, you would likely appreaciate the peaceful ambiance of Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban Quezon. This place is very popular during the Holy Week for pilgrimage where you can pray and meditate. It features the life size images of Station of the Cross and the 300 steps going to the top of the hill where the 50-foot image of Jesus Christ is located. Also, the place is known because of the healing priest, Fr. Joey Faller who celebrates regular healing masses scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday at 9.30am.

Cavite | Experiencing the summit of Pico de Loro

I always hear and see the trekking experience of my Facebook’s friends on their wall post and one time my college friend invited me to join on their climb to Pico de Loro in Ternate, Cavite. Why not should I try the experience of climbing?

Pico de Loro or Parrot’s Beak offers a magnificent 360 view from the summit. It was called on its name when the Spaniards noticed the form of a giant parrot while they are on board on their galleons to Manila Bay.
